Who we are
Table Markings ("we") operates tablemarkings.com, an independent casino comparison website for readers in Great Britain. We act as the data controller for the small amount of personal data described below. Contact for anything privacy-related: hello@tablemarkings.com.
What we collect, and why
- Emails you send us. If you write to us, we hold your address and message for as long as the correspondence needs — typically no more than twelve months — under the lawful basis of legitimate interest in answering you.
- Anonymous usage statistics. If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we record page views and approximate (city-level) location with no account, name or precise identifier attached, to learn which guides are useful. Decline, and this doesn't happen.
- Your cookie choice. Stored in your own browser so we don't ask on every visit. Details are in the cookie policy.
We have no accounts, no registration, no newsletters and no payment handling, so we collect nothing else. We never see anything you do on an operator's site — what happens after you leave through one of our links is between you and that operator, under its own privacy policy, which is worth reading because operators collect far more than we do.
What we share
Nothing is sold, rented or traded. Affiliate networks record that a visit came from tablemarkings.com via link parameters, but we pass them no personal details — the tracking token identifies us, not you. Our hosting provider processes server logs (IP address, requested page, timestamp) as any web host does, retained briefly for security and capacity purposes.
Your rights
UK GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete and restrict the data we hold about you, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Given how little we hold, requests are usually resolved by deleting an email thread — write to hello@tablemarkings.com and we'll confirm within a month. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it, and the current version always lives at this address.
